Designed to support planetary invasions and act as an additional energy weapon platform in a fleet, or as a carrier for small craft, the Normandy class assault carrier is well suited for planetary landings. I designed this ship for a role not often seen in fiction, that of a massive landing ship that can also be set up to carry fighters and light attack craft, (LACs), into battle.
