The giant MAZ 543 (MAZ 74106) 8x8 semi truck was the sucessor of the the famous MAZ 537 tank transporter. Like the 537 the 543 was combined with a ChMaz 5247 50to semi trailer. The MAZ 543 is still in use but slowly replaced by newer models.
Die riesige MAZ 543 (MAZ 74106) 8x8 Sattelzugmaschine war der Nachfolger des berühmten MAZ 537 Panzertransporters. Wie die 537 wurde die 543 Zugmaschine mit einem ChMaz 5247 50to Sattelauflieger kombiniert. Der MAZ 543 ist noch immer in Benutzung wird aber langsam durch neuere Modelle ersetzt.
