Product Description
Resembling the rose window of a European cathedral, the 'Axoneme' is the cross-sectional protein structure of cilia and flagella. Composed of microtubules and dynein motors, the action of these proteins is responsible for the motion of flagella and cilia and the movement of unicellular algae like Chlamydomonas. This striking abstract pendant is 4cm in diameter and shown in the photos printed in polished gold steel.
