Product Description

This is a mount for attaching an Microsoft Kinect sensor to a standard 1/4"x20tpi tripod screw. It requires no modification to your Kinect -- it clamps around the base instead of requiring you to tap screws into the bottom of the Kinect.

You will need a single  1/4"x20tpi jam nut to use this mount.    Assembly instructions are here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6930.

IMPORTANT:  The holes for the jam nut and screw are deliberately undersized due to the variations in tripod mounts and jam nuts.  You'll need to use a hobby knife to open it up and make it fit your particular rig.

This version is for installations where the Kinect is mostly in the normaly horizontal plane.  We are working on a new version to handle 90 degree and 180 degree (upside down) installations.
