Maintenance Of Way Equipment Trailer 1-87 HO Scale (WSF-BSF)
Maintenance Of Way Equipment Trailers are designed with rails set right into the trailer decking. These trailers are equipped with fold down goose necks that are placed directly on the rails and the cargo is rolled right up the ramp onto the trailer. The trailer then can be lifted again and hauled away.
Model overview features:
Simulated brake and running lights
Simulated wood decking
Folding positional front goose neck
Rail ramps to allow cargo to be loaded directly from the rail
Sunken compartments with lids, Two (2)
Rail stops at the end of the trailer
Rolling rear wheels and floating back axle
This model features the complex folding system for the front of the trailer to be laid directly on the rails and then the two supplied rail ramps to be placed on the track allowing scale models to be pushed right onto the trailer. The supplied rails can be held in place with Hobby Tac or other similar tacky glues. There are two sunken compartments also included with two hatches held in place with sprue. Remove the sprue and the comparts lids can be secured with tacky glue or pressure fitted, depending on the modelers needs.
The trailers pen is designed thin to allow multiple different manufactures of scale semis and chassis to be used. If the pin is to thin for your model, add styrene tubing to thicken the models pin as needed. Please contact us if assistance is needed.
