The OH series of fixed-wheel wagons were created from redundant F horse wagons in the 1950s and provided a roof platform for the installation and maintenance of overhead wire installations. These wagons were primarily used the installation of overhead wire as part of the Gippsland electrification project. Once this project was completed, these wagons were used for maintenance through until the mid-1980s. Beyond this time, this maintenance work was replaced by road vehicles fitted with rail travel components, platforms and "cherry pickers".
This model consists of the OH body wagon and under-carriage. This model is intended to be finished with brass etch ladders from Spirit Design
