3125 Scale Hydran Uhlan Patrol Carrier CVN

The Hydrans are an unusual species that live on the far side of the Klingon Empire, along the edge of the galaxy. They are enemies of the Klingons and Lyrans, and were conquered by those empires at one point, only to drive the invaders out decades later. Hydrans breathe methane and live on cold type-S gas giants on silicate continents floating on liquid methane oceans.

The Hydrans were a fighter-dominant empire and built a pure carrier version of most of their ship designs, including this variant of the Lancer Destroyer. The Federation assigned the reporting name of Uhlan (Polish for Lancer, a name following the theme of "a guy on a horse" that included the Horseman, Traveler, Knight, and the Lancer itself). While most cruiser-sized carriers operated a squadron of 12 fighters, the smaller destroyer-sized Uhlan carried 16, usually 12 Stinger-2 superiority fighters and 4 Stinger-H assault fighters. It could also carry a multi-role shuttle.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
