Product Description
The 600-cell, or icosaplex, is the 4D analog of the icosahedron, and is a convex 4-dimensional regular polytope, with Schlafli symbol {3,3,5}. It has 120 vertices, 600 tetrahedral cells, 1200 triangular faces, and 720 edges. But in this orthographic wireframe projection into 3D, there are only 384 edges and 75 vertices, because the orthographic view is along the 4th dimensional axis, and 336 of the original edges are either parallel to that axis, so having no length when projected into 3D, or are duplicates of other edges. 45 of the vertices also overlap another vertex in this projection, and are therefore invisible.  This orthographic projection also makes the symmetries of the 600 cell more evident. The edges are 1.52 mm in diameter to be printable in metallic plastic.
