3125 Scale Romulan BattleHawk Destroyer MGL

The BattleHawk was the smaller brother of the Warbird and larger than a Snipe. Classed as a light cruiser by the Romulans, other empires regarded it as a destroyer as this was a more accurate description of its capabilities. Unlike the WarHawk (wrapped around a single type-R torpedo) the BattleHawk mounted a pair of smaller type-G torpedoes with nearly the same firepower. In some ways, the ship was built because of the Romulan Great House system; the senate distributed the construction contracts among various shipyards. Each shipyard was owned by a different family and built a different class of ship.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. (Smooth Fine Detail Plastic makes an excellent cloaked ship!) Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
