1/144 Miles Aerovan

Light transport aircraft that was designed to be cheap to build and operate. The aircraft first flew in 1945 and a few examples were still in use in the 1960s. The large fuselage had clamshell doors at the rear that would allow a family car (of the day) to be carried.

The spherical recess underneath the model is for mounting it on a 6mm BB.

Note that this model is tail heavy and you will need to weight the nose if you want it to stand on its undercarriage.
