Grumman American AA-1

This Grumman is a light two-seat general aviation aircraft with first production in the late 60s. Designed to be a kit aircraft, it was eventually reworked into a full-production aircraft with no kits ever being sold. A popular light aircraft, the design was simple and cheap, yet light on the controls and quick through the air. It's higher performance and speeds made it tricky and sometimes dangerous for flight schools to operate, but in time pilots adapted to it's handling.

This 1:48 scale model was created on request some time ago, but I have since optimized it for production here. This model also features my 5mm mounting hole on the underside, compatible with my 5mm Stand. Enjoy!
