1/285 Valentine Bridgelayer

The Valentine is a fairly well-known British tank of World War II, and like many British tanks, it had several odd variants, including this scissor-type bridge laying vehicle based on the Mk 2 chassis, 25 of which were supplied to the Soviet Union.  The bridge is 10 metres long, and capable of spanning a 9-metre gap (the bridge is 30 feet nominal, and since my blueprints for the Valentine were in feet, that led to a number of problems when I made this model).  This model is based on the example on display in the Kubinka Tank Museum, which seems to have the wheels from the later versions, including the Archer and Bishop self-propelled guns.

Ordering the small variant will give you a single tank.
Ordering the medium variant will give you two tanks.
