Decoder Buddy Athearn Blue Box Bracket

This bracket allows the use of a SoundTraxx PNP decoder in Athearn Blue Box models. Removal of the metal clips at the rear truck is required. This bracket differs from my other one in that it can use any sugar cube speaker and is lower profile so it will clear the shells on early Blue Box locomotives.

Tested in Blue Box Athearn SD40-2, SD40T-2, GP38-2, GP40-2, GP50, GP60, SD45, F45, FP45, and GE U Boats.

The enclosed cavity is for a 2x3 capaciter pack (keep alive, current keeper). The platform on the rear is to hold a suger cube speaker.
