Tenor saxophone mouthpiece
Primary design goals:
- Even sound & response across the instrument's range
- Excellent control in the lower range
- Playability with a very wide range of reed strengths
Most suitable for orchestral and chamber music, although it does get brighter with the right reed.
Long, low roll-over baffle
Medium-large chamber
1.8mm / 0.071" tip opening
Medium-long facing
Table shape designed for reed-friendliness
Very slim profile - a flexible ligature for metal alto or hard rubber soprano mouthpieces may prove adequate
Currently only available in White Strong and Flexible (nylon) due to accuracy, health concerns (some plastics), and size restrictions (for raw silver); please contact me if you would be interested in other materials.
