Product Description
I designed this wall mount for the Philips Hue Wireless Dimming Switch. I felt the need to make my lighting at home smart, by implementing the Philips Hue system. But, many of my switches are used to control two different lightzones. Like the livingroom and diningroom. Two of the Original Philips dimmer switch wall plates next to eachother were just not an option visually, and one did not cover the in-wall socket, so i designed my own. 

 

Something that was necessary was that it would be a perfect fit. the magnets that are used for the original switch are pretty strong, due to the thin housing material between the remote and the magnets. Because of the design limitations with 3D printing (like wall thickness) the magnetic retraction power is a little weaker, but strong enough to hold the remotes into place. The tight tolerances that are used for this model ask for a very detailed print, and i highly recommend SLS Nylon (white). 

 

NOTE: if the print is from a poor quality, the two switches might not fit. You need to buy 4 pieces of 15x15x2 mm neodyme magnets or peel the magnets from the back of the Original Philips Hue Wall plates. I designed the wall plate to cover Dutch in-wall socket standards.
