3D printed in white nylon plastic with premium polishing to reveal an extra smooth surface.
Truss Rod cover for PRS SE models. This fits SE import models. It successfully fits an SE Custom 24 like a glove. It will NOT fit USA models. USA models have a slightly larger truss rod cover. I measured the original SE cover with digital calipers, did extensive computer work, and finalized it in a 3D program.
I did not notice a significant difference in quality for Premium Plastic vs Processed Plastic. It's such a small part, I'm not sure it matters, but it fits perfectly. I made it slightly thicker for strength and the screw can still go into the headstock just fine. I kept the countersunk hole in the design, like the original cover, but the screw that comes with the guitar for the cover isn't a countersunk screw. Designing it the same way as it was made had no effect on the fit which is good. I'll post more images when I can.
