The Y-8 is a medium sized transport aircraft used by the PLA Air Force in mainland China. Based off a modified Soviet AN-12, this airplane has been in use in several variants for almost 60 years. Several variants include ELINT and ASW packages. This model is also known as the Y-8Q, in addition to being the GX-6. Both names denote the same variant; a submarine hunter featuring the magnetic anomaly detector (MAD) boom on the tail, and an array of sensors around the aircraft.
This 1:250 scale model was created on request. If you have such a request, send me a message and I will work with you to create your aircraft of choice. Enjoy!
