I've always been amazed by the idea of the labyrinth, a neverending maze with twists and dead ends galore. While most labyrinths are depicted in a two dimensional fashion, I was intrigued with the idea of carrying those into the third dimension. This piece is part of a series into that exploration manifested in a wearable piece of art.
I began with a series of concentric arrays of cubes and deliberately began lofting faces together in a cohesive structure. With this piece, you can start from any location in the labrynth and eventually wind up at any other location within the volume.
