Product Description

NOTE: You need two of these. One for top and one for base. This custom mounting started out as an ambitious project to learn about parallel computing and 3D printing. I am selling this parts for this project because my other projects are taking all my spare time. If one is good... four must be better! I wanted the mounting to be both cool and functional. So I modified a 3D printed base & top design I found to add the network switch. (The link to my SCAD can be found at https://github.com/gbernardo/scad-examples). I mounted the circuit board from a 5-port network switch to the base. The network switch LEDs were in the way of the posts that hold the Parallella-16 boards, so I extended them with some ribbon cable. I had planned to mount these LEDs higher (hot melt glue?) where I could see them from a distance. NOTE: In order to use this mount, you need 4 Parallella-16 boards and a power supply.
