Support Legs for HO Scale Southern Pacific Railroad Common Standard 65,000 Gallon Steel Water Tower without tank. This standard design water tower was used to hold water for steam locomotives along SP's rail lines throughout the west. Similar tanks were used by other railroads such as Union Pacific.
This part is intended to be mated with a kitbashed or scratch-built tank to create a complete model.
The 65,000 Gallon tank consisted of 5 courses of rivited plate steel and in HO scale, would have a 3.3125" Diameter and 2.6875" height.
