Product Description
The Fobwatch started out as a learning project for me. To develop my skills at Industrial Design, not to develop a product. Once I had made it through my first few prototypes, and started actively using it, I discovered that this product is far more satisfying than I could have ever expected. To that end, I would like to make it available to you, to share this small joy that I have found.

A small bit of anxiety
I worry about my keys a lot. Before I leave the house, I check for my keys. Before I lock the car, I check for my keys. Before I leave work, I check for my keys.
Worrying over keys like this adds a very small amount of stress to my life. It is not a lot of stress, small enough that it can hardly be felt at all. But removing that stress, by putting my key in view, lifts a larger burden than it should. Removing that stress, after becoming accustomed to it, is surprisingly freeing.
You don't need pockets
If you use a fob to move around during the day, it has to be kept on you at all times. Since no one wants a lanyard, that means having pockets. Moving the fob up to your wrist means no pockets necessary.
It is very awesome
Waving a hand in front of a door to open it feels like a super power. With a long-sleeve shirt covering the fob too, it looks like magic.
It is more fun than it should be.

Getting a fob into your Fobwatch is a bit tricky because it is a very tight fit. I recommend using a set of pliers to pry it open a bit then push the fob in from above.
The Fobwatch has two sides. Putting the fob in one way will look lean and a bit more subtle. Putting the fob in upside down will look larger and a bit heavier.
The Matte finishes are very rough and not recommended for people with sensitive skin. Please use a polished finish to avoid this, if possible.
All universal 18mm watch bands will fit. Some examples to get you started:
