Product Description
Test version of a scaled-down model of the plastic shipping pallets that were used as floor, wall, and ceiling panels in various beloved SF films shot in England in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Famously these panels were used as the floor for a popular smuggling spaceship's hold.

This version is scaled to be a useful stand for figurines, etc.

Note that it isn't a 100% accurate replica of the original pallets. There are a lot of details on the underside which I omitted, mainly because when scaled down to this small size they would have caused problems printing. Some of the specific internal sizes are out for much the same reason.

I'll probably improve the model's accuracy with time, and attempt to cut more sections out to thin the material and thus lower the price. But that's going to be at some point in the future...

Note also that this version is posted here without any markup. Shapeways is making money off this model, but at the moment I'm not.
