The Morane-Saulnier Type H was a somewhat smaller, single-seat version of the Type G
, with an 80hp 9-cylinder Le Rhône engine. A couple dozen were built for Aviation Militaire
, and another 24 were built by Grahame-White for Britain. While their non-trainer service lifetime was brief, they did serve in small numbers in several units until they could be replaced with better models. They were also license-built by Germany and served as the basis of the Pfalz monoplanes.
This product comes in both 1:144 and 1:285/6mm/1:288 scales. The 1:144 scale has a single aeroplane. The 1:285 product comes with three aeroplanes
, each with a removable propeller disk rather than propeller blades. They are joined by sprues to keep the cost down. You will have to carefully remove the sprues with snippers or nail cutters.
