Product Description
This HO scale part is is the tank roof for a Prince Edward Island Railway 25,000 gallon enclosed water tower.
The prototype tank had a 21'2" diameter at the top. This roof fits over the outside diameter with a snug fit. The roof had 26 triangular segments and was covered in flat galvanized iron sheet.
These tanks were built at Alberton, West Devon, Summerside, Hunter River, Mount Stewart, Morell, Harmony Jct., and Georgetown, PEI.
It is likely these parts will be useful to modellers building other railways' water towers.
