Brilliant Facets - Triangle Pendant

Fascinating repetition is the core principle of the pieces in the Brilliant Facets collection. Clear edges and separation of the surfaces, combined with openings create brilliant reflections and interesting depths. The collection 'Brilliant Facets' started as a visual experiment with the repetitive structure of scales, like for example on fish or the pangolin. The scale shape was reduced to a triangular form and later enhanced by adding a triangular opening in the center.

 

Based on an icosahedron, a regular polyhedron with twenty flat faces, and subdivided by triangles on different levels, this highly detailed shape catches the eye.

 

This hanger does not come with a chain / necklace. The circular holes for the chain have a diameter of ca. 4 mm, or 5/32 inch.
