The Swarm devoures, infects or mutates everything metal it comes in to contact with shaping it for its own usege. What makes the seed frigate so dangures is that it acts both as a drop ship landing or deploying in boarding actions, its shapeshifting living metal troops it can also deploy them as mines waiting for anything to come near enough to be boarded.
