Psi
Psi is the 23rd letter of the greek alphabet. It is greatly used within multiple areas such as, biochemistry and virology. In quantum mechanics it is used to denote the wave function, and in electrical engineering it is also used to denote electric flux. Psi is also used to denote and represent parapsychology, the study of paranormal and psychic phenomenum such as telepathy, reincarnation, psychokinesis.
Boeotian shield
The shield that the symbol is placed on in this ring design is a boeotian shield, also known as a dipylon shield. It was used by spartan warriors in ancient greece.
Meander art
The intricate pattern around the ring is meander art, which is a decorative pattern that was used within greek culture.
This ring also includes a curved inside surface for a comfortable fit.
