Turtle Shell Prosthetic

This is a prosthetic blank that I've uploaded and printed for an eastern box turtle. The model is an altered scan of the skeletal structure of the carapace (the top part of the shell) from a long deceased eastern box turtle. The model was scaled up slightly to facilitate dremeling and shaping of the interior to fit over the shell of the patient comfortably and appropriately.

As will be the case with all of my veterinary uploads, there's no markup, so you only pay for the materials and the labor of the Shapeways employee who prints it for you.
