PRR F22 in N Scale

Please read the notes below regarding the model before purchasing.

This model is the two F22 cars without the "bridge" beam. In addition to trucks, and couplers, you will need to add brake equipment, including a vertical shaft and brake wheel to complete the car.

Notes about the printed model

This design is a reasonable start to an F22 project. The modeler may have to work the ends to accept their favorite N scale couplers. There is no coupler mounting built into the model, and some of the end/frame may have to be removed.

The MicroTrains trucks bolster pin fits tightly and the trucks clear the frame when a spacer is added. The trucks may need a spacer in case the wheel flanges rub against the frame. This may be necessary anyway, because the car may have be be raised a bit to mount the couplers.
