As a lover of history and fashion, I almost always have the opportunity to costume in my favorite eras. Finding the accessories that match my style isn't always the easiest though. Tiaras that sparkle are lovely but they didn't sing to my heart like the 1820s iron work tiara did.
Using photographs of the original, working with a master model maker with 20+ years of experience and the team at Shapeways, we were able to recreate this incredible piece of history and art.
This version of the tiara is sized for dolls.
It was a dream come true to have this replicated for myself. I want to share it with everyone else who dreamed of a tiara that seemed out of reach.
