MODEL KIT PART #1 OF TOTAL 3
Bleriot XI-2 was the XI type's reconnaissance liaison version with two seats for pilot and observer, used by many countries during Balkan Wars & WWI. A Bleriot XI-2 (captured Ottoman), used by Hellenic Army during Balkan Wars period, flown by pilot 2nd Lieutenant Emmanouel Argyropoulos and observer Konstantinos Manos. The Bleriot XI & XI-2 types remained in production until the outbreak of the WWI and a number of variations were produced using various types of engine including the 120º degree Y-configuration radial 3-cylinder Anzani, the 50 hp & 70 hp Gnome rotary engines.
This kit contains all necessary parts (of the 1st pack of total 3), for assembling ONE airplane model under 1/18 scale - all four parts are necessary to build the model kit. Any extra diorama accessories visible on some pictures (eg. oil barrel, fire extinguisher, jerrycans, wheel chokes etc) are not included and should be purchased separately.
