Confederation De Ruyter Class Light Cruiser

Post war, the Admiralty of the Confederation was staffed by war veterans but commanded by war weary civilians.  Consequently, there was a wholesale drawdown in fleet size and budgets were slashed.  The Admiralty was able to get a few projects completed, in particular the small class of light cruisers named after the lead ship De Ruyter.  Clearly based on the same design as the Constitution class Heavy Cruisers, the De Ruyter class ships were substantially smaller, and were it not for Confederation politics of the era, would probably have been more properly classed as destroyers.

 One 1/3788 scale space ship, approximately 21mm by 45mm.

Model has a 2mm hole for mounting on a flight base.
