Koi Carp Pendant.
The fish that became a dragon
The Koi Carp carry a deep meaning starting with an ancient legend, this Legend Inspired me to make this Design, Sculpting the Koi fish pushing against the river going to the waterfall
The Legend:
There was once a school of thousand Koi fish swimming in the yellow river, they swam against the current until they reached a waterfall. At the waterfall, most of the school turned back thinking that it was impossible to reach the top, but the ones who remain continued to swim, and after one hundred years one of them successfully reach the top and the gods pleased turned the tenacious Koi into a Golden Dragon.
The waterfall took the name of Dragon's Gate and any Koi carp who is determinate to complete the journey can ascend and become a Dragon too.
