Product Description
Tatra T4 overview
The Tatra T4 belongs to the third generation of Tatra PCC trams, and it is a derivative of the world-famous T3 tram designed by František Kardaus.
Compared to the T3, it is 300 mm narrower, which allows it to run with a trailer car. As a result, it has more powerful motors and a stronger frame that can pull the trailer. The Tatra T4 was mainly supplied to Eastern Germany, the Soviet Union, Romania, and Yugoslavia.
Like its sister tram, the T3, it has famous well-designed red and grey laminate seats in the interior.
From 1967 to 1987, over 2600 trams were produced.
This model contains TT body of Tatra T4 tram.
