Universal Joint - Single version

This is a universal joint primarily intended for model railroad applications, but also suitable for any application where you need to couple shafts between 1mm and 1/8"

Features:

• Fits 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, and 1/8" shafts
• The outer tube snaps into place on the hex ball
• The outer tube is 3/8" o.d. making it easy to extend with readily available tube stock - tube is scored and perforated to make cutting and extending it easier
• #4 hex nuts will fit inside the outer tube, making it easy to build custom shafts from readily available hardware
• There is roughly 1/4" of axial play in the coupling, allowing the joint to accommodate significant movement fore and aft
• Enough parts are included to make one universal joint

As-is, the universal joint is 13mm long, with 22.5° of flexibility at each end for 45° overall. It can be extended, as indicated above.
