Morane-Saulnier Type V

Ships as soon as 7 days
3D printed in black nylon plastic with a matte finish and slight grainy feel.
Product Description
One of the criticisms of the Morane-Saulnier Type I was its limited range.  Morane-Saulnier responded with the Type V, which featured an additional 50l tank in the fuselage belly.   The wingspan was enlarged and the tail was adjusted slightly.  Twelve were sent to the RFC in April-August 1916 where they saw wide but brief use with Squadron No60.   By October 1916 they had been replaced with other types.  This model shows a Type V equipped with a synchronized Lewis gun.

This product comes in both 1:144 and 1:285/6mm/1:288 scales.  The 1:144 scale has a single aeroplane.  The 1:285 product comes with three aeroplanes, each with a removable propeller disk rather than propeller blades.  They are joined by sprues to keep the cost down.  You will have to carefully remove the sprues with snippers or nail cutters.
