Kanohi Houhara: Mask of Ensnaring
(Matoran Dictionary + Maori Dictionary: Houhia-hara; Meaning - Binding Threads;
Literally - ropes that bind and make peaceful.)
The Mask of Ensnaring allows the user to generate energy cords from their hands that upon activation, bind to the first target they make contact with. The connection cannot be broken unless the user deactivates the cords or loses focus. The number and length of the cords is dependent on the user’s proficiency with the mask and overall mental strength. The cords themselves also possess significant elasticity and cannot be cut off by physical means. If the mask is knocked-off from the user, the cords lose function and immediately fade away. An
example usage of its power is to latch onto a spire and swing across, or to restrain an individual indefinitely.
