Product Description
GWR 9ft 6in wheelbase, 17ft 6in OHS steel wagon chassis suitable for some open wagons. Includes 6.2mm diameter 6-hole disc wheels. Needs brake levers and camshaft to complete, Oh, and a wagon body!
UPDATE 2021-04-19 Made the flanges on the N-gauge profile wheels bigger, increased the clearance for them, and slightly strengthened the axleguards as these are a weak point while fitting wheels.
ADVICE Clean out the pinpoint cones with fine drills in a range of sizes until one end of an axle can be seated deeply enough that the opposite end can be slipped in with the minimum of flexing of the axleguards. They are very easy to break. They will not be as good if you have to glue them.
