Product Description
This is a set of three models...
1 x Boeing B-314 In flight.
1 x Beaching Trolley for bringing her up on the slipway for maintenance.
1 x Boeing B-314 Waterline model with doors and hatches open.
WINGSPAN:
37.1mm in 1/1250th scale; 38.6mm in 1/1200th
LENGTH:
25.9mm in 1/1250th scale; 26.9mm in 1/1200th
Note that this set is available in either 1:1250 or 1:1200 scale and in a choice of materials- please check your choices in the top right corner of this page.
Please also note that the individual items are supplied "caged" together to avoid loss and damage - after the cage is removed there are NO sprues to cut away from the individual items.
The Boeing B-314 clipper is widely regarded at the summit of flying boat technology. It inaugurated the world’s first transatlantic heavier-than-air service, and carried passengers and cargo around the globe in the 1930’s and 1940’s.
Large, luxurious, and reliable — and with an astounding range of 3,500 statute miles — the B-314 made intercontinental passenger airline service a practical reality.
