Product Description
A product of a Naval Ordnance Test Station study in 1956, a “Super Sidewinder” air-to-air missile with a liquid-fueled engine giving Mach 3+ performance, a 15-20 mile maximum range…and a 750-ton nuclear warhead.

Studies proceeded until 1958, with a projected service entry date of 1960, but lacking any need or a military requirement for such a weapon, the project was halted long before any actual hardware would be built or tested.

A fun, unique addition from the Atomic Age for your “What If” and Alternate History model builds.
