The "Fishbed", at least as it's known in NATO countries, is a supersonic jet fighter and interceptor built by the famous Mikoyan-Gurevich Design Bureau. An icon of the Cold War and Soviet design, this aircraft has been in service by dozens of countries for over six decades after the maiden flight.
This 1:96 scale mode is the second of a series of Cold War aircraft I will be producing in the coming weeks. To the max extent practical they will be designed all at the same 1:96 scale, the same scale my Super Hornet and Growler models are built to for the sake of comparison and training. That being said if you desire a specific scale send me a message and I will work with you. Enjoy!
