OK, sometimes this 3D printing stuff still amazes me. This is a donkey engine I made because I found a really cool add on program for my 3D design software that made gears and I started playing around. Eventually I was trying to figure out the rivets on the boiler, and how to get the boiler hollow, and before you know it a day was gone and I had this donkey engine on the computer screen. One of the small gears measures under 1/10 of an inch with my micrometer and it has visible teeth on the gear. And with my eyes I can't really see the rivets without a magnifier.
Originally I had planned to rust this out and put it in the middle of some bushes. I think I still will, but it will be a lot closer to the front edge of the layout. Some of the details are not correct, like the piping, which is not all connected) but I based this on some internet photos and not everything was clear cut. Maybe I'll spend the time to research and correct some details. Since I was planning on rusted and abandoned, I thought disconnected piping was OK.

If someone buys this model and paints it nice, please, please send me pictures. It needs the wooden runners (skids?) added to the sides of the frame. I thought that would look better with real wood. Also, this way, if its modeled derelict, you can have them missing.
