This is a 5 dimensional solid whose wireframe has been projected orthographically into 3 dimensions. It has 10 vertices, 40 edges, and is the dual of the 5-cube. It is projected here on the same 3D basis vectors as is my 5-cube model, and can be rotated to show the B5 Petri polygon. (See Wikipedia, 5-Orthoplex).The 5-orthoplex is a regular uniform polytope, the 5 dimensional equivalent of one of the 5 regular Platonic solids. It has many interesting projections into 2D, one of which is illustarted, the 'Petri pologon'.
