Elco 80' Bridge Door Forward 24th

This model is based on detailed Elco drawings for all Elco 80' boats except for PT's 565-624. It includes the door and the grab / drip rail above it.

All outside surfaces are scale except for a bridge between the end of the handle and the door. Be careful with the handle as it is thin and fragile. This model does not have inner door detail.

Preparation

The first step is to clean all parts thoroughly. Handle very carefully as the plastic is brittle. Please see the guide and links here: http://www.pt103.com/3D_Printed_PT_Boat_Parts.html. For best painting results be sure to follow cleaning with a UV cure from a lamp with the correct output, or the sun.

Remove the grab / drip rail near the door if you want to use the attaching sprue pins for mounting the rail. Cut the slightly angled part of the sprue off the rail to leave just the straight part of the pins.
