Table Number Base - 2 digit numbers

This is part of the brainy-racks table numbering system.  Attractive table numbers can be assembled and embossed with the name of your restaurant or cafe displayed on the base.  Numbers can be changed to cater for losses or to accommodate unique numbering systems.  Different colours can be chosen to accomodate the colour scheme of your establishment.

The system includes the following printable files avaiable from this shapeways shop:

• Double digit number base and end hook (this file).
• Single digit number base and end hook.
• Number kit with number 0-9.
• Individual numbers 0-9 and blank.

If your cafe has up to 9 tables choose the single digit base for each table and print one number kit.  If your establishment has more tables choose the double digit base for each tabe and as many number kits and numbers as required.

To assemble the numbers, hold the base in your left hand with the closed end pointing left.  Hold the first digit (most significant digit) of the number in your right hand facing you so you read it as the normal number, not its mirror image. Slide the number into the base until it reaches the closed end.  Hold the second digit of the number so that it faces you and add the hook to the right of the number (the hook presses into the bottom of the number near the front).  Hold the base in the left hand as before and slide the number in until the digit clicks into place.  The number can only be removed by inserting a skewer, jeweller's screwdriver or similar long thin object into the hole through the hook.
