Thickness For Miniatures

Discussion in 'Customizable Products & Design' started by StyreneLunchbox, Dec 1, 2018.

  1. I'm sure this has been addressed before, and there are design guidelines by Shapeways to refer to, of course, but I'm interested in hearing from people with some experience on the matter. For miniatures (under 5 cm) what thickness would be appropriate for fine detail plastic? Thanks.

I printed a couple of them a while ago, I suggest you to make them no less than 3mm. 1mm thick parts will bend, you can reshape them without breaking them, but that's annoying. That was my own personal experience.
    Cheers

  3. Thank you! That's exactly what I need to know.
