Has anybody used steel for stud earrings?
Are their any cons using steel to make them?
Can I make the stud thin enough? 0.8mm
Can steel be tolarated by the skin or it can bring allergies?
I will appreciate if somebody can share their experience.

In short FORGETABOUIT,.. Stud too thin for that type of print, material will oxidize and is not appropriate for that kind of contact. Cast silver? -S
    Rob_T_Firefly and MitchellJetten like this.

You could always bond your own studs / hangers. It is a fun material if you like the texture.

I would like the post to be integral to the design of the earring.... thanks for your suggestion!

I wouldn't attempt it. I'm certain the post dimensions would stop ExOne from properly polishing it, and then you would be sticking a seriously rough piece of metal in your ear. Ouch!

Thanks! Sure that is the last thing I would want :)
