    Hello,

I found these parts on the internet somewhere to print your own Iron Man helmet, however when I try to add them they turn out way too large or way too small.

If it isn't too much work to do, is there someone who could resize these models to normal sizes which still allows me to actually wear the helmet?

    Thanks in advance :)

    Regards,
    Jorin

Download netfabb Studio Basic. (It's free...)
    http://www.netfabb.com/basic.php

It will show you the model's current dimension.
    Calculate the necessary scale factor.

Then use "Part" --> "Scale", and just do it. ^^

Agreed.. use Netfabb Basic and upscale by a factor of 10.. it'll be just about right. You will also need to use Nefabb to invert all the triangles.. they are currently turned inward rather than outward.

But.. I looked for example at the left side .. at the right scale, it averages 5mm thick or more.. and therefore is 420cm3 of material. Just that left half alone will cost $600 to print.

I noticed, it's indeed getting a bit expensive.
But I'm afraid if I make it less thick the strength of the helmet will be also a lot less, or is this not true?

    edit: the complete helmet with a size of cm: 27.746 w x 25.326 d x 27.648 h costs $869 to print

just an update, I've attached the current helmet with all parts together.
Not sure how thick this is and if it maybe could be a bit less thick.
