The model dimensions displayed for me in my store are wrong or missing. You get dimensions the first time, but as soon as you do anything they go away. It doesn't even have to be a product with variations. If you have variations they are just as likely to be WRONG. Just picking a different material makes the dimensions go away even when it is the exact same model. This seems like a pretty big deal since buyers need to know the actual size of the items they are shelling out for. I know I can manually add the dimensions to the write up for each variation, but that is a great job for...., humm, A COMPUTER. I just hope I am wrong and my customers don't have this problem. Is anyone else still seeing this problem? I see bug reports on this same problem from as far back as last year.
Hi @ricswika, I just created a ticket internally for the issue of the dimensions being lost. Could you give me an example of when you've found the dimensions show up but are wrong? Thanks, Carson
For me dimensions only seem wrong for the variant case when the page is first opened. Any of my variants. For this product the error is obvious.
I upgraded to the new store format so maybe that is part of it. So what's the work around? I faced the same problem with one of my uploads - Swastika Pendant. For now I wrote them manually in the description box. Update - The dimensions appeared mysteriously back after a couple of edits on product page. May be updating dimensions on edited products takes time.
