I guess he got caught up in the Black Friday/Christmas rush, but after a panicked call to UPS to change the shipping away from my [closed-for-the-holidays] business address, he finally arrived today :D

As good as I had hoped, if not better, in Satin Black ceramic.

Do they laser etch all alien visitors? I like him more than the white version I think!

    Ha ha!

It's the British Lion Mark - applied to most shop bought eggs in the UK as a mark of quality and a guarantee against (amongst other things) Salmonella (yes I'm googling this... )

I left in shot for a dose of reality!

That is really cool! Can it hold a spoon?

    Thanks for the feedback guys...

Unfortunately, no, he can't hold a spoon. The renders may suggest that, but the reality is that the glaze narrows what gap there is between his thumb and fingers.

All I can say is 'watch this space'! ;)

Love it. What is is about eggcups and us 3D printers? - I think we've all made them, haven't we? But this one beats them all, I think.
